Computed Tomography (CT scan) - This new equipment will provide pet owners the opportunity to obtain advanced diagnostic imaging within New Brunswick.

For Pet Owners

A CT scan is an imaging method that uses x-rays to create pictures of cross-sections of the body.  It allows higher resolution detail of structures of the body that are typically not visible on regular x-rays.

For Referring Veterinarians

All studies are promptly evaluated by a board-certified radiologist and same day results are often available.  For patients requiring immediate therapy of underlying medical problem (ie. spinal surgery, CSF tap, thoracic surgery, rhinoscopy, etc), stat radiologist interpretation is available.

  • Referrals appointments are typically scheduled in advance, however, emergency CT scans can be provided after-hours when required (at additional cost).
  • In addition to routine computed tomography imaging, our facility also offers both myelography and intra-venous contrast studies.

Ultrasound – We provide ultrasound evaluation of the abdomen, thoracic cavity and soft tissues.

For Pet Owners

Ultrasound uses high frequency sound waves to produce moving images of the organs, tissues and blood vessels inside the body. It allows higher resolution detail of structures of the body that are typically not visible on regular x-rays.

For Referring Veterinarians

Referrals appointments are typically scheduled in advance, however, emergency ultrasounds can be provided after-hours when required (at additional cost).

Radiographs (x-rays) – We provide radiographic evaluation of the abdomen, thoracic cavity, skull, teeth, bones and joints.
